Having grown up in Leeds which is only half an hour or so from Salford, this is highly reminiscent of that particular Northern, moisture laden sky which is so prevalent in memory and reality.
This is just darker than mid-value, warmish in temperature and blue-grey. It has crimson and violets in its makeup which give a strange warmth in the generally cool hue. I like paint that shifts and changes before your eyes, this is one of them.
Bound in single estate, cold pressed, linseed oil. Made in small batches.
