Red Oxide - 40ml

A more opaque version of possibly my favourite paint, Transparent Red Oxide. Whereas that would be used in dark, warm transparent shadows this will find a place to gently warm various mixes particularly flesh tones. Handmade with just pigment and oil and like all Langridge's paint it has a uncommonly high pigment load making it more versatile and better value than most others out there.

Langridge's description;

"An essential for painters with an earth toned palette. Red oxide is opaque and fast drying, with an uncommonly high pigment load. A real workhorse."
