Arylide Yellow - 40ml

A very high chroma, semi-transparent yellow.

It's transparent qualities makes it perfect for glazing, try a thin glaze of this over Langridge's Cadmium Yellow and you will never have seen yellow with such depth before. Hard to find as a single pigment oil paint as it often mixed with other pigments, so another special product from David Coles at Langridge.

Arylide is a modern pigment and in oil paint it is sometimes known as Hansa Yellow although this high density, single pigment version will outshine any others that go by that name.

In my opinion this type of pigment is the future of oil paint, less toxic and cleaner in mixes than some of it's rivals.

It leans towards red and will also make extremely vibrant, crisp oranges when mixed with red.
