A classic yellow ochre the pigment being natural iron oxide and the oil linseed, blessed with the Blockx quality and buttery consistency, perfectly blended. This is a very solid 'earth' and with it you will get exceptional consistency and handling, I would describe the paint as clean and clear.
The colour is a very middle of the road yellow ochre having strong creamy yellow tints. For more variations on ochres please see our range of Rublev earths.
An interesting painterly fact is that yellow ochre is technically a grey as it contains all three primary colours.
