This is like transparent red oxide but without the red!
It has the same earthiness and transparency and although still warm in temperature it isn't as red as it's cousin. Almost like a more transparent burnt umber in masstone.
Being a synthetic pigment it's consistency is super smooth without the grittiness of a traditional earth.
Bombproof lightfastness. One for glazing and the more traditional portrait/figurative palette, although would work as an excellent ground for landscape.
