An unusual pigment ground in linseed oil gives this very unique colour!
Thankfully not quite as powerful as the normal Phthalo pigments, this is a brominated version rather than chlorinated. This is base for colours such Hooker's Green or Sap Green.
In masstone higher in tonal value than the 'normal' Phthalo Green, and slightly warmer I suppose due to the yellow edge. This actually might be a better option for landscape painters who usually use the 'normal' version as it is a little easier to control and not quite as acidic in hue.
