Description
The hardest pigment to control on the palette! Chlorinated copper or Phthalo Green as it is commonly known, will give cold greens like no other, acidic hues and deep blue greens.
In masstone a deep, emerald green with an excellent feeling of depth, reminiscent of some sort of rare and wonderful gemstone.
Its tint power is such that it is difficult not to mysteriously reach into all your mixes on the palette, but once mastered it will give access to vivid greens which it would be extremely difficult to create otherwise.
This version is rammed full of pigment with no fillers or extenders.
I once knocked over a jar of phthalo blue acrylic ink onto my friend's patio, it is still stained just as blue five years later...I can conclude this pigment has excellent lightfastness!
