Description
Very artisanal charcoal, produced from Oak in Cessapalombo, Italy - direct from the man in the woods!
The woods of its origin are shown in the second image, pencil for scale in the third image. Try as I might I can't capture the rich darkness of the charcoal in a digital format, suffice to say it is a deep black.
Harder than willow, so puts down gentler softer marks, think hard pencil against soft pencil.
Approximately 100g in a solid box - smaller pieces than the Ribblesdale oak.
