Description
Cadmium red light...the light referring not to its tonal value but to its position on the colour wheel, it leans towards orange.
Because of the strong chroma and opacity of Cadmium pigments, the high pigment load of Michael's paints and its position on the colour wheel, this is a blisteringly warm, powerful red.
Cadmium red light is a favoured modern alternative to Vermilion and used extensively in modern portraiture.
Massive tint power gives a vast range of luminous salmon pinks when white is added.
Generally a tube lasts for a very long time, given its tinting power...you only need a little.
