Description
Titanium orange is a single pigment paint made with a rutile tin zinc pigment, PY216 - suffice to say it is unusual!
Muted orange loveliness in hue - screaming 1970's, and like the historic colour palette of that era, it will sit very well with browns of all descriptions, a fascinating paint.
Very useful on the palette if you need a single pigment paint without the over powering strength of a cadmium orange. Can be 'greyed down' further to produce extreme orange subtlety.
David's description;
"Langridge is the first manufacturer in the world to use this pigment as an oil colour. Opaque mid-chroma orange. Less outrageous intensity as our other offerings with a unique colour-space.
Very dense. Long consistency."
