This is a set of paints based on the palette of Anders Zorn.
Anders Zorn was a Swedish painter renowned for his figurative painting.
This is a modern version of his limited palette and if you are figurative/portrait painter starting out I cannot recommend anything better for learning about the subtleties of colour and flesh hues.
The palette consists of four colours, Cadmium Red Light, Yellow Ochre, Bone Black and a non-toxic Flake White substitute. Essentially you have white and the three primaries, the Bone Black behaves like a blue, its blueness is remarkable when seen against the other hues.
I feel I must repeat this, I believe there is no better way to learn the handling of colour in portrait/figurative painting than starting with these colours.
The set offers a saving over buying the colours individually and comes in our lovely handprinted boxes.
