Description
A rare, green, transparent, earth pigment made from the mineral Celadonite.
It's not dissimilar to Terre Verte (which being a green pigment from the earth is not surprising!) in the way it handles, a very gentle tinter and good transparency. It is slightly lighter and more yellow leaning the Terre Verte Bohomian.
The masstone is a dark green, although this is pretty deceptive because as soon as it is spread out with a palette knife, the semi-transparency makes a greenish wash and the tonal darkness disappears.
In tints with white it produces delicate and soft green greys. This paint will work very well on a portrait palette to soften pinkish hues.
