Raw umber, handground in artisanal French linseed oil, the pigment is from the Societe de Ocres de France, no additives or fillers.
In masstone it is a flat brown and in tints with white it produces possibly the most neutral greys of any earth.
Handling is perfect and the consistency enables it brush out 'long' without the addition of any medium.
Top quality, I will be replacing the current raw umber on my palette with this one.
