An intense, bright, transparent, red.
It is roughly in the middle of the reds on the colour wheel, however when mixed with white, I can see a violet leaning edge to the tints. The tints are powerful, rich pinks.
It hasn't got the depth of a Cadmium red, lighter and fresher in feel no doubt due somewhat to it's transparency and slightly lessened tinting power.
Triple milled, small batches, single estate artisan oil, great paint.
