The pigment for this paint is sourced from quarries in Northern Italy, like all the Rublev paints it is made with oil and pigment, nothing else.
In masstone it is mid-value chocolate brown, used thinly it's transparent quality comes out showing translucent yellow/orange hues. It's tints are yellowish bieges, rather calm and pale in nature.
It has good tinting power and for me that's where it value lies, it enables a wide range of muted browns and with enough white added they become almost fleshy tints.
