Cobalt teal is a colour which seems very popular at the moment, I can see why it does give some really interesting possibilites on the palette.
This is single pigment version is unique as far as I know being a blue shade and obviously leaning more towards blue! It is lighter in value than it's cousin as well, very vivid and luminous in masstone.
It is darker in tonal value and slightly greener than the swatch opposite suggests.
It has the sublime delicacy of a Cobalt pigment (easy to control in mixes) and also Cobalt's useful transparency, when used thinly on a white ground the transparency causes this paint to almost glow!
In tints...stunning turquoises.
