Description
This paint is made in Derby, England by Tom Robertson - a painter, a teacher and an artistic alchemist!
This is the third version of Tom's Lead White substitutes and the only one which is ground in walnut oil. Like the other paints in Tom's collection, it is hand mulled in very small batches with an unparalleled attention to detail and the handling properties of the paint.
It's less stringy and paints longer than the other versions, with a slightly brighter edge.
Tom believes it is well suited to more finely detailed work and performs well as a companion to the other whites. This formulation is also perfect for anyone who has concerns over the yellowing of linseed oil.
Excellent.
