Description
Transparent yellow oxide is a single pigment paint based on a synthetic iron oxide pigment, bringing more punch in colour and greater transparency than some of its more natural cousins.
As with all transparent pigments they are particularly beautiful bound in oil, giving a wide variety of hues and feel, depending whether they are used thickly and opaquely or thinly and transparently. This is a superb example, single pigment, high pigment load, no additives.
A warm brown in masstone - glowing, earthy yellow-browns when spread thinly. The synthetic nature of the pigment presents a very 'pure' colour.
