Description
The pigment for this paint is sourced from quarries in Northern Italy, and like all the Rublev paints it is made with oil and pigment, nothing else.
In masstone it is mid-value chocolate brown, used thinly its transparent quality comes out showing translucent yellow/orange hues. Its tints are yellowish beige, rather calm and pale in nature.
It has good tinting power and for me that's where the value lies, it enables a wide range of muted browns, and with enough white added they become almost fleshy tints.
