Description
Brilliant yellow is a slight misnomer, as in isolation the paint appears as almost a pure white, however once in juxtaposition with another white the yellow edge is much more visible.
Based on the pigment PW6 - titanium white - the yellow element is provided by the pigment PY53 - nickel titanate. We sell single pigment nickel titanate paint here - if it is useful for reference.
So in essence the paint is a warmer titanium white, very much a creamy white in masstone hue.
I just mixed some with a bit of ultramarine and created a lovely soft green, if you want a very bright and gentle yellow, this is the one!
Buttery and opaque.
