Description
A bright, opaque yellow - created from the pigment, bismuth vanadate.
Cool leaning yellow, good on a split primary palette as the cool yellow set against a warmer yellow - particularly good as it is a single pigment.
Viable to alternative to lemon yellow or cadmium yellow light. Decent tint power, quite loose handling - certainly when compared to a buttery cadmium. Functional.
Michael's description;
"A soft, yet vibrant and zesty addition to the range of yellows. Bismuth Vanadate possesses a brightness and freshness that brings remarkable energy to mixtures, while retaining the opacity and permanence demanded by professional painters."
