Description
Amber alert! A blend of pigments, napthol red with hansa yellow and arylide yellow.
Unsurprisingly this combination gives an orange hue, however leaning towards the red end of the orange spectrum - aka deep orange.
The tints with whites are a range of slightly muted, warm oranges.
This is a hue which would be accessible by mixing on most palettes - however if you need this particular colour - here it is!
Michael's description;
"Rich, glowing and beautifully warm, Amber sits somewhere between deep orange and burnt gold. It immediately makes me want to paint. There is something luminous about it, as though the colour radiates from within. Whether used in glazing, landscape painting or portraiture, Amber brings warmth, depth and a natural glow to every mixture."
