This is actually called Oleo Impasto Medium however I feel impasto technique isn't where this medium excels. The medium is very similar to the Rublev Oleogel and is excellent for many aspects of painting, from glazing to just giving the paint a bit more workability.
This medium like the Rublev Oleogel is superb, it has very little smell and it's gel nature makes it very easy to use with real precision when adding to paint.
It also has thixotropic qualities, meaning the more it is worked with either a brush or palette the looser or more fluid it becomes which adds a really useful aspect to the medium.
It is made from Linseed oil and pyrogenic silica, there are no solvents and it won't affect drying times.
A superb all in one medium!
