Yellow ochre pale is a light brownish yellow oil paint made with ochre from deposits in the Luberon massif in central Provence in Southern France.
Displaying beautiful, pinky tints, the paleness described in the title is quite subtle in the tints however it is much lighter in masstone than most earths I have seen.
It paints very long and has an almost stringy consistency. It would be very useful in subtle temperature shifts in portraiture.
