Yellow ochre pale is made with ochre from deposits in the Luberon massif in central Provence, France.
In masstone it is a raw sienna like brown yellow, it paints long and has an almost stringy consistency. It is a surprisingly gentle tinter, it's tints are light, neutral, bieges. In reality I don't really see the pinkyness shown in the swatch opposite.
It is a very gentle yellow earth.
As with all Rublev paints it is just oil and pigment, nothing else.
