Mars Yellow - 35ml

Mars yellow essentially is a synthetic yellow ochre developed in the 1920's on the late side of the boom in synthetic pigments and dyes. Like its natural cousin it is a mix of iron oxides, however these particular ones are created synthetically.The colour is dictated by the amount of heat and moisture used in the process.

The result is a very clean, concentrated, opaque, earthy yellow. It is the consistency in colour and texture which really appeals. It is quite cool in temperature.
