This is the far end of the colour range of cadmium pigments, a reddish purple. It is opulent and classy, it works very well in warm shadow mixes, giving a superb depth and natural warmth. In some lights it's red wavelengths come out before it lurches back into the violet spectrum, I always feel colours like this on the cusp of different spectrums have a certain aliveness to them.
Again the master of cadmiums Jacques Blockx has delivered, buttery and substantial it is extremely pigment rich.
Opaque, good tint power, excellent lightfastness, slow drying.
