Burnt Umber - 40ml

Earth pigments, the cornerstone of painting, used throughout history, wonderful! This particular Burnt Umber is handmade with just pigment and oil and exhibits the wonderful warmth of 'burnt' pigments. This is great if you want a very high quality Umber without the complications of different tones and warmths.

"Very warm and velvety. Deeper in tonal value than Mars Brown with warm red undertones. This genuine Italian Burnt Umber contains iron and manganese oxides which ensure rapid drying. Ideal for traditional painting techniques."
