Paris Blue - Prussian Blue - 40ml

Paris Blue is basically a variety of Prussian Blue, it's hue is a midnight blue, a dark, dark blue. It has lots of body and it's tints are cold, lush blues with very slight green undertones.

It is made with the pigment PB27 which was one of the first synthetic inorganic pigments developed just after 1700, sometimes known as Iron Blue, until the Phthalocyanine pigments were created in the 1970's this pigment was used in all manner of blue things.

Transparent and fast drying, it is present in a multitude of great artworks including Mr.Van Gogh's starry night.
